Appearance :

When looking at Dante, one would think that his hair is white, possibly silver with the tint of it, and depending on the angle of the light. That, however, is not true, as Dante’s true hair color is but a very light shade of blue. His eyes are strange in that they change colors depending on the situation. When he is mad or sad, such as being in a fight, then his eyes are red. When happy, they are blue. Finally, when concentrating, they reveal their true color to be a unique shade of purple. He has fair skin, nothing really standing out about it. Though his neck is kept barren, Dante is not afraid to wear something that he likes. His clothes are mostly red, even though he lives in Yuki, because he doesn’t care if people know where he is. Approximmately standing at six feet, seven inches, Dante has a relatively good weight of 87 kg. (191.4 lbs) A red trenchcoat surrounds a black and red leather riding suit. Though many gold buckles are on the shirt and pants of the riding suit, they are really just for show and serve no prize purpose. The trenchcoat is a basic design, with a simple zipper going down both halves of the middle piece, as to show that the coat can be closed (even though Dante never closes it) and has many simple gold-colored buttons on the coat. In the middle of the back of the coat, Dante has a small triange-shaped slit going upwards into the coat. This is for more room, as if it allows the coat to sway more. The jeans have the basic number of pockets (being two just below the seam line (on an angle) and the two on the seamline in the back). The coat also has pockets about the same area as the two pockets Dante wears on his pants in the front, though the two in the coat are slightly bigger and able to hold more. The pants are of basic design as well, since really nothing on Dante’s persona is extraordinary. He has a silver-buckle belt with no unique designing on it either, it resembling a demon head. Just above and below the knee lies a seam for each side. His boots are red in design, looking partially like cowboy boots, yet at the same time completely different. The boots have black tips, and a zipper towards the end of the front. They are kept loose, as they can be ties, but Dante doesn’t usually tie them.

Personality :

Dante’s personality relies on the type of people he is with, as well as what he is doing. He is a very playful person, but he knows when to get serious. A major flaw that dante has, however, is his bad luck, and his cocky attitude. Though he does know when to get serious, he’ll usually put it off as long as possible. Unless of course he is on a mission, in which he won’t play around at all. To him, missions are the crown jewel of being a shinobi. While his luck by itself may be bad, he has good luck when he really needs it. Around his friends, Dante is himself;; he doesn’t try to wear a mask to hide his personality. Actually, Dante is like that with everyone;; everyone but his enemies. Which, as of yet, he doesn’t have one. He gave himself the title 'Jester of the Obvious Existance' because of his smart-ass personality... most of the time, at least. Dante is not very picky in who he chooses as his friends. That is, when he is just relaxing. If he is on a mission, his emotions are last in line. To him, his own body and feelings are the last thing to worry about. One of Dante’s pet peeves is the “cool, silent” type of person, because they are just show-offs in his eyes. The best thing about Dante is that he doesn’t retaliate to talk. In his eyes, either you do what you say you will, or you shut up. Even if he’s verbally insulted, he’ll just keep walking. But all in all, Dante's personality is kept simple. If one who is fighting him proves themselves, he will spare their lives. "Only kill who need be done," as he says. He has somewhat of a poetic nature when he is engulfed in a fight, but he's still a jackass and a smartass at that. When on the squad, his fighting style is to rush in, for he knows he has back-up. However, if he is one-on-one (or any more) he will play defensive until the target/s are exahausted. He knows his limits, but often refuses to listen to them. Whenever possible, Dante will taunt every and all of his opponent, knowing it would frenzy them, hoping to drain their fatigue earlier, so he can press his attack. When with animals, he has a nature of being extremely kind to them and their owners, but his smartass demeanor can overpower it with a fair amount of ease, giving him no trouble of losing patience. When in a good mood, it's impossible for him to lose his patience, but he doesn't have any at all when he is in a bad mood, such as failing a mission, and can screw over the luck of his opponents. Dante loves to read. Any and all books that he can get his hands on, he'll read them. Unsure of exactly why, it could very well just be because he's looking for more ways to insult people. Or, it could be that he does in fact wear a mask, the smartass everyone knowing being but a demeanor to hide his true self, that being what a mask is for. If that were true, however, his nature would most likely be the opposite, being a kind and compassionate person who sheds tears for the ones he loves, instead of being a cold, heartless bastard. Perhaps the biggest flaw in Dante's make is that he doesn't know when to quit, after tasing the blood of more than one man. He knows his limits, yes, but can't pay attention to them. Very rarely will he actually run away from a fight. The only reason he ever has to is when his life is on the line. But after all, death on the battlefield is the greatest honor a man can achieve in his life. Instead of being a death-seeker, however, Dante tries to stay alive for the few people that'd care about it if he were to pass on, entering the after-life in search of a new hope. Perhaps to come back as a butterfly. Why? Simple. No one suspects the butterflies...

Character's History :

Background & Pre-Academy: Being the Fuedal Lord of a small, outcast town lost far in the outskirts of the land of lightning, Dante’s father had it made for him. Though, he didn’t want to be a fuedal lord. He wanted to just be with his wife, having a nice happy life. Once they decided upon having a child, though, his father began to realize something. He sent his wife off, heading towards the first village she found. He, being Dante’s father, didn’t want Dante to suffer as a Fuedal Lord. No, he wanted Dante to have his life as he should;; a shinobi. His mom took off from the village, leaving in the night when there was no one around. She headed towards the land of snow;; a hidden village was in that place. The artic wasteland, Yuki’s Frozen Empire, was kind to them. Dante was taken into the custody of a small outskirt town on the border to the empire. His mother, just before handing him off, fell into the snow. She never closed her eyes. The man who found them almost immediately picked up Dante. He was just a newborn, being no older than two weeks. The man rushed to the village, giving the baby to the elderly couple who had expected a baby many years ago, but now could not find the time. They took the baby up to the hidden village of the ice;; Yukigakure no sato. The young boy was to be grown into a fine young man. Dante had an easy childhood, being one of the kids that was popular. He had many friends, that being his natural personality. The best part of it was that he didn’t try to mask the personality of his. In fact, he let it shine. Dante was initiated into the academy around the age of eight years old. Academy Days & Pre-Chuunin Exams: In the academy, Dante was always goofing around;; always getting into trouble. He was even, only once, spanked AT the academy. From that day, Dante learned to distinguish the difference between time for play, and time for work. Even though he knew the line, though, he still tried to play around a lot. Once he buckled down and got serious (when he needed to) Dante’s grades rose. He learned all of the basic jutsus, as well as learning a style of jutsus that fit him. As an academy student, though, Dante hadn’t been able to pursue the style at the time;; instead, he only learned about it, knowing he’d be able to learn more later. He devoted most of his time to Taijutsu, as Ninjutsu and Genjutsu were just not all that interesting. After becoming a Genin, though, Dante had learned more about that style. He pursued it beyond any other, learning some of the jutsus for it. He desired to go on some mission, and after finally getting a team (Wolverine) he was able to go on some. Of course, they were still going to be basic and all, but he could do them in the long run. With yet to meet his team, Dante was told that he was being promoted to the rank of High Genin in order to aid the frontlines of Yukigakure's attack force. He still has yet to recieve a single mission, but that has yet to stop the newly appointed High Genin. With his new rank, he began to study Chisokuken, letting his Genjutsu slip away. He furthered his studies in the Senkouken art, and made his Taijutsu Knowledge fairly expansive. With awareness of the Hachimon, where will Dante go now?

Objectives :

Dante’s only objective, as of yet is, to become Yuki’s pride.
